Laura Hamilton, 38, who is a regular face on A Place In The Sun, often interacts with viewers on social media, but the property expert has now dished on a shocking surprise. The Channel 4 host revealed she was mortified after unwanted pictures began to pile up in her direct messages.
Laura, who first made her show debut on A Place In The Sun in 2012, gave a rare insight as she shared details of people sliding into her DMs on Instagram.
The small-screen star admitted the messages tend to vary from questions about properties to fitness and make-up.
The property expert recently blocked a sender after she received an unexpected photo on social media.
Laura explained she was left speechless when a fan sent her a snap of his manhood.
“I did get a message not that long ago from somebody that was a picture of them with a face mask over their private parts,” she remarked.
“And then the string of the facemask up their bottom, and I was like, ‘I don’t need to see this.’ I just blocked it straight away.”
Fortunately, Laura saw the humorous side of the X-rated message despite her shock.
“It did make me laugh, I was like, ‘That’s not the way we use face masks. But thanks very much,'” Laura added to The Sun.
The mum-of-two has been keeping her fans entertained during the third national lockdown with her fitness videos on the picture-sharing site.
More recently, Laura took part in a travel show with her pal La Voix called Birds With Baggage on IGTV’s live stream.
The presenter recently hit back at claims she had plans to leave her current role on A Place In The Sun following reports.
Laura explained that it left her feeling “upset” as she denied the claims.

“There is no rumour. I didn’t even say I was looking to leave,” the Channel 4 host told Entertainment Daily.
“In fact, I had a conversation with my boss because it really upset me and I never ever said I was looking to leave. Why would I?”
She added: “It’s just terrible. Because I’d said I work on other TV projects and I’d love to do other travel things, that doesn’t mean you’re going to leave a project that you’re already working on.
“I own a coffee shop and a restaurant. That doesn’t mean because I own a coffee shop and a restaurant that I’m going to leave my TV job and do that full time, do you know what I mean?” she said.
Meanwhile, Laura recently suffered an injury while decorating at home, taking a “small chunk” out of her finger.
The Channel 4 star had chipped away at the tiles on the inside of her swimming pool with a hammer and chisel.
“I’m using a good old hammer and chisel and I’ve already had an injury and taken a chunk out of my finger.
“Think I’m going to be here for sometime,” she shouted over the noise of power tools.
A Place In The Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
