Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s tell-all chat with Oprah Winfrey made headlines around the world back in March. Now, singer Adele is set to head to the Rose Garden to “follow in their footsteps”.

The beloved singer will be appearing in a two-hour special on Sunday, November 14.

This is set to feature a chat with Oprah as well as feature some of her music.

It will be airing five days before the release of her latest album, 30, which marks her comeback after six years.

This will also be Adele’s first televised interview about the new album.

According to the previews, it will see her discuss her new album, the stories behind the songs, life after divorce, weight loss and raising her son.

In a segment on Lorraine this morning, host Lorriane Kelly and presenter Ross King chatted about the news.

Lorraine asked the entertainment presenter if she was following in the “Royal footsteps”.

Ross said: “Adele is doing an interview with Oprah Winfrey, so following in the footsteps of Meghan and Harry.

“The question is will it send as many shockwaves around the world as that last one did?

“It’s all coming out five days before Adele’s new album 30 comes out.

“It’s going to be a big special on CBS called Adele: One Night Only.”

Ross went on to add: “There’s going to be an interview with Oprah in her Rose Garden.

“Obviously talking about everything from the music, the divorce and the inspiration for the album.

“And you can actually stream it from online over here on Paramount Plus.

“So it’s going to be a very interesting one indeed.”

Megan and Harry also chatted with Oprah in her Rose Garden back in March.

This was the pair’s first sit-down interview about their decision to leave the Royal Family.

They shared some bombshell revelations during the chat, including how a royal had asked about baby Archie’s skin colour.

Meghan also opened up about her own struggles with mental health in the chat.

Their interview even led to Buckingham Palace releasing a statement responding to the allegations.

This read: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

“The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.

“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members.”
