After making Grammys history, Beyoncé is celebrating the accomplishments of other women also changing the game in the industry.

On her website, the superstar is paying homage to the great entertainers and athletes “who rose to the occasion in delivering stand out feats that made us all shine.” Her list consists of Michaela Coel, UCLA gymnast Hallie Mossett, Megan Thee Stallion, Viola Davis, Michelle Williams, Cynthia Erivo, Catherine O’Hara, Kelly Rowland, Mariah Carey, Issa Rae, Cardi B, Andra Day, Misty Copeland, Taraji P. Henson, track star Allyson Felix, Serena Williams, Adele, Chloe x Halle, Naomi Osaka, and Solange Knowles.

Beginning her tribute, the superstar quoted Maya Angelou: “The question is not how to survive, but how to thrive with passion, compassion, humor and style.” Beyoncé then acknowledged the women’s achievements, writing, “Their passion and brilliance shone on courts, zoom stages, streaming services, television, books, dance and song. They gave us joy and provided escapism in the midst of an overwhelming year.”
