Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Christopher Biggins believes Matt Hancock could make the final of the show in a surprising turn of events. The former Health Secretary was tipped to be the first contestant to leave the jungle, but has so far avoided being voted off the show by the public.

Since being in camp, the MP has proved to be a good sport by successfully completing his Bushtucker Trials.

He has also addressed the outrage sparked following his breach of his own social distancing rules last year.

Speaking to his campmates recently, he said he understood why people hated him and was looking for forgiveness.

On his antics, Christopher said: “He’s doing everything brilliantly and however much you may hate him he is a player and he goes for it, he really does go for it he gets all the stars.

“He feeds the camp, he’s charming and has won over the camp and I think is winning the audience over too.”

Like many others, the former winner thought Matt would be the first contestant to leave the show.

However he is yet to receive the lowest amount of votes to kick him out by the public.

So far, Charlene White, Scarlette Douglas and Sue Cleaver have been given the boot, leaving Jill Scott as the only remaining female in camp.

Christopher added on the Mail Online’s Jungle Confidential podcast: “Originally people thought the best thing would have been if he was first to go out. You never want to be first out as it’s humiliating.

“And I thought people would want to humiliate him but no. I think he will go to the last three and last pivotal as they are the real big stars.

“He could make it to the final three given the way people are voting.”

He went on to say he was “surprised” that Boy George was yet to leave the camp.
