Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has battled baldness with a hair transplant, and he said he did it for his mental health.
The actor, who plays David Platt in the ITV soap, has revealed he almost quit fame over his insecurity.
Now, he's showed off the results of his procedure after going under Dr Asim Shahmalak's knife.
Jack had his hairline rejuvenated at the doctor's Crown Clinic, and it seems he's more than happy with the results.
He said: "I had to do it to protect my mental health."
Showing off the results on Instagram , he added: "9 months it’s been since I had my hair transplant, this is the first time I’ve compared pictures to what I used to look like.
"I decided to get it done as it was affecting my mental health. To the point where I considered giving up acting and not being in the public eye. Thank you so much @asimshahmalak and everyone at Crown Clinic"
Pictures show Jack, 31, lying back in a chair as doctors works their magic, and the dramatic before and after pictures show just how much his hairline has changed.
Jack's locks are much fuller now, giving him that much-needed confidence boost.
Co-star Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs and has had a hair transplant of his own, commented: "Looks brilliant mate and it helps so many people who feel just like you did, just letting them know they have options!"
Pal Brooke Vincent, who plays Sophie Webster couldn't resist winding him up.
She said: "2 Days Later “DARLING .. YOUR HAIR LOOKS AMAZING!!!” Hahahahaha"
His fans were happy he didn't end up jacking in his day job.
One said: "Glad u didn’t give up u r a brilliant actor."
