Dog The Bounty Hunter has revealed how he's coping after his wife Beth passed away in June aged 51.

Duane Chapman – the real name of television personality Dog The Bounty Hunter – was married to Beth for 13 years. Beth had been battling throat and lung cancer, and died in a Honolulu Hospital after being placed in a medically-induced coma.

Now Duane, 66, has spoken candidly about how "every day is a challenge without her."

He said: "Every day is a challenge, but, you know, one to 10, I'm six. I've lost a lot of weight but I started eating last night at a soul food restaurant we went to, and I'm trying to get back on track…I really like to dream now."

The Dog's grief wasn't helped by the cruel burglary of many of Beth's possessions from his shop in Colorado.

Duane also shared that it helps him to pursue his work as a bounty hunter, as it helps to "to work and stay busy."

He revealed to TMZ : "I'm thinking about…the next bust. To help grief, you have to work and stay busy. [Working] is a good therapy, whatever you do for a living, do it."
