Gemma Atkinson, 34, recently took to Instagram to share a short video clip as she relaxed at home with her pet pooch Ollie. In the heartwarming video, her dog could be seen resting his head on her stomach as Gemma tenderly stroked his head. Ollie later went to lick the former Emmerdale actress before she pulled a face to the camera. In view of her 1.1 million followers, she captioned the clip: “Rank but I think he can smell my milk.

“That or he’s suddenly started liking my chebs,” followed by a laughing face emoji.
The cheeky statement comes after the Hits Radio DJ spoke candidly about getting to grips with breastfeeding her baby as a new mum.
She said: “I’ve said to you all that I’ll try to be as honest as possible with stuff and obviously I’m a new mum so I’m learning loads.
“I’m absolutely loving it though, she’s just a dream, I love her. I’m breastfeeding at the minute but one thing that has been a life saver is a hacker.”
The new mum then held the device up to the camera and continued: “I’m in this sexy breastfeeding bra. While baby’s going to town on one boob, the hacker collects from the other.
“I genuinely don’t think I would be able to breastfeed without this. I’m really lucky I can get between two and three ounces each feed so that means during the night feed she’s still on breast milk but from the bottle.
“So she’s managed to switch between the two already which is great.”
Gemma also shared some advice to new mums who are struggling with the challenges of breastfeeding.
She said: “Also I’ve had people messaging me saying they’ve tried to breastfeed and can’t and they feel like a failure.
“Honestly don’t. When I first started I was the same because she wasn’t latching on properly and I was thinking, ‘Oh my god’, and it’s quite a lot of pressure.”
Gemma concluded: “As long as your baby’s being fed and you’re happy, happy mum, happy baby is the best thing I was told.”
Meanwhile, the small-screen star was pictured with her beau Gorka as they popped out together for a coffee yesterday.
The actress shared a quote which read: “Sometimes all you need is a bout of fresh of air.”
She added a lengthy caption to the post where she admitted her midwife advised her to go for walks due to the benefits for her mental health.
Gemma wrote: “I ventured out yesterday for the first time since I had Mia.
“Granted it was only a 10 min trip with Gorks while Mia was asleep at home with Nana but I cannot tell you how good it felt! My midwife & health visitor advised me to take a walk if I could as it’s good for mental health in new mums.”
