Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw is on top at the box office!

The Fast & Furious series spinoff, co-starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, raked in $60 million in its debut weekend across 4,200 North American theaters, according to Variety on Sunday (August 4).

The movie also kicked off in 52 international markets, and brought in an approximate $120 million.

The Lion King stayed strong at the No. 2 spot at the box office, pulling in another $38 million, crossing the $400 million mark in domestic sales. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood also had a strong showing in its second weekend, bringing in $20 million for a total of a $78 million haul to date.
