Kate Garraway has shared the first picture of her husband Derek Draper since he was admitted to hospital in March 2020.
At the time, the 53 year old showed symptoms of coronavirus and was put into an induced coma.
He woke up for the first time in October last year to tell doctors he was in pain, but he's since been in a PDOC coma (Prolonged Disorder of Consciousness), which means he is generally unresponsive.
Now, in the first trailer for 53 year old Kate's new ITV documentary, titled Finding Derek, the Good Morning Britain star can be seen explaining: "Derek is the sickest person the team of doctors have treated this year."

While Derek has been free of Covid-19 since summer last year, he remains in hospital following complications.
In June 2020, Kate explained that the deadly bug caused him to have holes in his heart, nerve damage, liver and kidney damage and he had needed a tracheotomy to help him breathe.
She said that doctors did an MRI on her husband, which showed that "he has damage everywhere".

It comes as Kate recently revealed she hasn't been able to see Derek for two months amid the lockdown.
The TV presenter made the revelation while interviewing boxer Frank Bruno with co-host Ben Shepherd.
Frank reached out to Kate, and wanted her to send his best regards to Derek when she sees him next.
He said: "If you see your husband today, just give him my regards please Kate."
The mum-of-two responded: "I will do, unfortunately I'm not allowed to. Haven't for two months. But I will try to pass that message on. That's very kind."
Frank added: "Sorry. Please do [pass it on] from my heart. No problem."
