Jan 11, 2022

Louise Thompson has taken to Instagram to share an adorable new picture of her newborn baby son Leo-Hunter.

The 31 year old Made in Chelsea star, who faced a difficult birth with her little boy, posted the sweet snap to mark him reaching two months old.

The milestone is even more worth celebrating after Louise explained the trauma she and Leo-Hunter had to go through suffering complications during labour.

Both mum and baby unfortunately had to be taken into their respective intensive care units in the days following, with Louise taking to social media to explain she was still recovering both mentally and physically.

She captioned the cute close-up of her tot: "My love bug #2months."

Shortly after the sweet post, Louise's fiancé Ryan Libbey shared his own selection of images with son Leo-Hunter.

In one snap, he kissed his little boy's head, while in another he cuddled him close to his chest.

A third image showed the dad-of-one cradling his son in hospital, as he captioned the series: "The last few months of my life have tested me in more ways than I could have ever imagined.

"This kinda stuff you don’t prepare for. Sometimes it just lands at your door and you’ve got to deal with it.

"I’ve got so much that I intend on sharing with you, maybe some of what I have to say will help someone going through a particularly bad time," the social media star continued. "I’ve learnt a lot, about myself, about life, about what really matters.

"I guess first and foremost on that the long list of hard lessons – hold on tight to the people you love. It can all change in a blink of an eye."

Ryan went on to thank his friends and fans for all the well-wishes and cards as he, Louise and their baby continue to move on from the traumatic time.

"All of your support and good wishes are gratefully received, he shared, adding: "You’ll be seeing a lot more from the 3 of us as we rebuild and come back stronger."

It comes as Louise recently opened up more on her PTSD – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – following the birth of her son, as she shared another new image on her Instagram with Leo-Hunter and her pet pooch by her side.
