Maura Higgins hits back at fans as they accuse her of photoshopping abs in sultry snap

Nov 13, 2021

Maura Higgins hit the town last night with best friend Molly-Mae Hague, and the stunning star has been bombarded with messages accusing her of 'photoshopping' her latest social media images.

The gorgeous model and former Love Island star, 31, looked flawless in a series of Instagram snaps posted last night as she posed for the camera in the grand entrance of fancy West London hotspot, Restaurant Ours.

Maura, who recently broke up with Strictly pro ex-boyfriend Giovanni Pernice, wore some striking pink Tom Ford joggers paired with a crop top, showing off her ripped abs.

Maura has previously claimed she has never done a gym session, and seems to be naturally blessed with an incredible figure.

She regularly sports skin-tight outfits and flaunts her flawless figure, from her toned legs and chiselled jawline to her washboard abs.

With over 3.3 million followers on Instagram, Maura is often subject to cruel trolling, and this time they criticised her apparent "editing" of the stunning new snaps.

After posting the slideshow of images from last night to her Instagram grid, which attracted a whopping 145K likes and thousands of comments, the outspoken Irish celeb wasn't having any of the trolls' editing claims, and took to her IG Stories to prove that they weren't altered in the slightest.

Maura posted a screen-recorded video as she swiped through her camera roll from last night.

She showed the images taken on the evening, which were identical to those posted and proved that no editing was done.

She wrote alongside the video: "Nahhh my dms are full… 'too much photoshop' proud to say no hunnys this is me & my raw camera roll from last night.

"Just brightened and sharpened… Sue me".

The brunette beauty then posted a cryptic quote after slamming those who criticised her, which read: "You can always tell who the strong women are.

"They are the ones you see building one another up, instead of tearing each other down".

Maura added some emojis beneath the quote, agreeing with its message.

Despite the trolls, last night's sultry grid post attracted plenty of attention for the newly-single star.

Pal Molly-Mae wrote: "No I’m obsessed", later adding: "Can’t wait to steal this outfit x bye", as fellow Love Island contestant Francesca Allen wrote: "ABSSSS ON IT".

She wasn't the only one to highlight Maura's unreal figure, as hairdresser Carl Bembridge commented: "ABSSS OLUTELY DONE".
