If you feel like Michael B. Jordan is an open book these days, I totally can’t blame you for that—homeboy has been posting tons of cuteness on Instagram now that he’s boo’d up with Lori Harvey, and honestly? The internet can’t seem to get enough of their relationship! But as it turns out, Michael still likes to consider himself a Very Private Person™, and only started sharing the details of his relationship online because he is just soooo enamored with Lori. Aww!

In an interview with People—aka the publication that rightfully named him the Sexiest Man Alive— Michael spoke about putting his relationship with Lori online and said, “I’m still private, and I want to protect that, but it just felt like it was a moment of just wanting to put it out there and move on,” and added, “I am extremely happy.”

He continued, “I think when you get older, you feel more comfortable about the [public nature] of the business that we’re in. So for me, it was a moment to, I guess, take ownership of that and then get back to work.”

Shortly after going Instagram official, a source later told People, “they have gotten serious quickly. It’s obvious that they don’t want to be apart…when they don’t travel together, Lori spends a lot of time in Los Angeles with Michael.” Sounds like they’re inseparable!

And even better news? Michael and Lori’s relationship has the coveted gold seal of approval from Steve Harvey himself. During Steve’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last month, he said that Michael is “such a good guy”—so much so that he had no choice but to give Michael his blessing. “He is one of the nicest guys. I met his father. I’ve sat up with him. We’ve talked for hours. I just can’t find nothing wrong with him,” Steve said, adding he’s “hoping this lasts.” Same!

Welp, looks like it is once again time for me to obsess and cry over the insanely cute details of Michael and Lori’s relationship for the millionth time this month:
