Miley Cyrus was ‘hurt’ her former sister-in-law, Chris Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky, thinks ex Liam Hemsworth ‘deserves much better’.
Thor’s wife Elsa had dissed the Bangerz singer after the former lovebirds’ very public break-up.
A ‘friend’ of the 26-year-old told Woman’s Day: ‘Elsa saying she wasn’t good enough for Liam will hurt her hard.’
Liam and Miley split back in August after being on-again-off-again for 10 years and married for eight months.
After the split, Miley went on to date Kaitlynn Carter before moving on to new beau Cody Simpson.
According to Hola! Magazine, Elsa, 43, told press at the Madrid launch of Women’s Secret’s KissMas Time range: ‘Well…after a relationship that you’ve dedicated ten years to, he’s a little bit down but he’s coping well.
‘He’s a strong boy and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much better.’
Elsa and Miley had a very close friendship when she was still with Liam, and an inside source claims she still cares about what the Hemsworth family think of her.
Elsa – who has three kids with Avengers star Chris – went on to discuss how the Hemsworths had been supporting Liam during the rough time.
She said: ‘Family is always there to protect you. He and his brother are so close and he’s really been there for him to give him the strength he needs.’
Elsa reportedly isn’t the only Hemsworth with hard feelings towards Liam’s ex-wife, with a source previously telling Hollywood Life that the star’s mum Leonie never approved of the Wrecking Ball singer.
However, Miley now has Cody by her side as their relationship is said to be ‘fun and easy’.
With all the PDA and Instagram selfies together, we don’t expect anything else.
The pair have been dating for two months, and things are said to be progressing well, with Cody staying with Miley and her family in Nashville to celebrate both her birthday and Thanksgiving – and Miley’s family reportedly ‘love’ the Aussie.
