Ronnie O’Sullivan, 45, is engaged to actress Laila Rouass, 50, who is best known for her roles in Holby City and Footballers’ Wives. The British star opened up about her relationship with the snooker champion in a recent interview.
Laila gave an insight into her life in lockdown with her beau as she explained the pair had taken on a healthy new lifestyle.
The Footballers’ Wives star revealed that the pair had started using “intuitive eating” and Buddhist teachings to help them through the coronavirus pandemic.
The mum-of-one claimed that her long-term partner had “become so boring these days”, as he prefers to drink green tea rather than go out partying.
She also added that the professional snooker player had sworn off fast food.
Addressing their new health regime, Laila explained: “Essentially, it’s the opposite of a traditional diet.
“It doesn’t impose guidelines about what to avoid and what or when to eat.
“It’s listening to your body and eating food that makes your body feel good. So Ronnie’s started realising, like me, that this stuff actually works.”
Speaking of her partner, she added to The Mirror: “He’s so boring these days.
“He likes watching TV, going out for dinner. All those rock and roll days are well and truly over.”
The actress also claimed that during the coronavirus pandemic she would often find herself asking him to go out with her, but he’d rather enjoy a quiet night indoors.
Laila met Ronnie in 2012, with the couple becoming engaged the following year.
The pair are yet to officially tie the knot and have made no immediate plans to walk down the aisle.
