Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley took to social media today to detail a fashion mishap which occurred while at work. The 33-year-old television host, who is best known for presenting Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, was left in a tricky situation when the wardrobe malfunction struck at a bad moment.

Stacey filmed herself at the top of a large flight of stairs and panned the camera down to show her broken shoe.

The fashion-loving host was wearing a pair of black high heels, when the strap across the toes completely broke off.

“Excellent,” she could be heard saying sarcastically.

“Really great,” she added in view of her 919,000 followers.

Just yesterday, Stacey, who recently moved home with her boyfriend Kevin Clifton, revealed her house was “upside down” during the most recent lockdown.

She has been documenting her decorating journey online, sharing photographs of her beautiful property on the micro-blogging site.

While promoting a home dye kit for Clairol UK, the red-haired star admitted she was trying to look on the bright side of life in these unprecedented times.

“This Lockdown my house is UPSIDE DOWN but my roots are non existent… you got to celebrate the small wins,” she told fans.

“So I’ve been watching Stacy Dooley documentaries, and I thought your hair was naturally auburn. Mind blown…” one followers wrote in the comments section of her post.

Also turning to a DIY hair colouring product this week during the second nationwide lockdown, was This Morning stars Holly Willoughby and Davina McCall.

The TV presenters both filmed themselves dying their tresses at home during an Instagram live session, which was shared on the former Big Brother host’s account.
