Taylor Swift fans speculate that she revealed the name of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ unborn fourth child

Taylor Swift fans are convinced she revealed the name of her close pals Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ fourth child in a verse of her song, You’re On Your Own, Kid.

Ahead of the birth of the couple’s latest addition, who is due in February or March of 2023, a specific name Twitter users went into a frenzy over the idea that the pop star, 32, had publicly disclosed the unborn baby’s moniker.

While the theory remains unconfirmed, Swifties believe they decoded an Easter egg that the Deadpool actor, 45, and his wife, 35, are planning to call their little one Daisy May.

Sparking theories: Taylor Swift fans are convinced she revealed the name of her close pals Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ fourth child in a verse of her song, You’re On Your Own, Kid

The name was plucked from Swift’s lyrics: ‘I see the great escape, so long, Daisy May / I picked the petals, he loves me not / Something different bloomed, writing in my room / I play my songs in the parking lot.’

This comes two years after she shared Lively and Reynolds’ daughter’s name in her emotional track, Betty.

On the same album, Folklore, the 11-time Grammy winner also featured the names of the pair’s other children James, seven, and Inez, six, in the hit.

Another little girl on the way? While the theory remains unconfirmed, Swifties believe they decoded an Easter egg that the Deadpool actor, 45, and his wife, 35, are planning to call their little one Daisy May

At the time, she confirmed she ‘named all the characters in this story after’ her ‘friend’s kids.’

Additionally, Swift gave fans a deeper insight about the meaning behind her song, which is told from a male perspective about a teenage boy attempting to apologize to Betty, who he cheated on.

‘He lost the love of his life, basically, and doesn’t understand how to get it back. I think we all have these situations in our lives where we learn to really, really give a heartfelt apology for the first time,’ the Cardigan singer explained.

Longtime friends:  The Cats actress and Lively have been friends since around 2015, so it is no surprise that she would pay homage to the actress’ growing family

She added: ‘Everyone makes mistakes, everybody really messes up sometimes.’

‘This is a song that I wrote from the perspective of a 17-year-old boy. And I’ve always loved that in music you can kind of slip into different identifies and you can sing from other people’s perspectives, and that’s what I did in this one,’ the hitmaker added.

Previously, Swift sampled her pal’s eldest on her single, Gorgeous, back in 2017.

Lively served as Swift’s director for her music video, I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version)

While accepting her third album of the year win for Folklore at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards in 2021, Swift  namechecked her pal’s children yet again.

“I want to thank James, Inez and Betty and their parents who are the second and third people who I play every new song that I write,” she gushed, at the time.
