9 Famous Football Families We Can't Get Enough Of

Nov 7, 2021

Frequently, A-list football players end up marrying some of the most beautiful, talented, and charismatic women in the entertainment industry  — funny how that happens. And while some of these couples, like Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, love opening up to the public about how they balance football season and their personal lives their intimate lives, others — like Kerry Washington and her NFL husband Nnamdi Asomugha — totally hide their private lives away, keeping our view of them strictly to Washington’s acting and Asomugha’s footballing. From the ultra-private to the media-savvy, we love learning about the families of the players who keep us entertained all through football season.

The thing about football families that we have to consider is that these NFL players have rigid, high-intensity months of sport, often leaving their families to travel for long stretches. But while that may seem sad, they also have a very healthy off-season where their days are all about family time.

Recently, Tom Brady opened up on his SiriusXM podcast Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, about home life and how he spends the off-season. “Although I wish I was there more, I think if I was there too much, you know, they might be sick and tired of me screwing up everything that’s been going on in the house for a long time too,” he confessed.

And many NFL fathers are amazing dads too. This February, Ciara opened up to the NY Post about her NFL player husband, Russell Wilson, saying his sexiest quality is how wonderful of a father he is to their children.

“What’s always been beautiful about Russ is just to see him from day one, excitingly jumping in and changing diapers,” she told the outlet. “He’s obviously really beautiful to me in every way, but the father in him is by far one thing that makes him the sexiest to me.”
