Weddings are traditionally thought of as being romantic and classy affairs.

But one couple have thrown the rule book out of the window and opted for some very non-traditional invitations for their big day.

The unnamed couple asked guests to join them as they tied the knot with some expletive-ridden invites, which started by addressing the intended recipient with "Hey F*** Face".

Pictures of the full invitations were shared online in a wedding shaming Facebook group and it's fair to say that many were less than impressed by them.

Clearly meant to be seen as amusing, the invites read: "As you know, we got f***ing engaged and now we've got to plan a motherf***ing wedding.

"You're so f***ing amazing, you made the cut!

"So… are you f***ing coming? F*** yes, F*** no, F*** you."

On the back of the invite there is a list of other stuff to know, which adds that guests should leave their "little s**** behind" as the couple want to "get f*****".

Guests are also told they can wear "what the f***" they like and apparently even attend the wedding "butt f***ing naked" for all the couple cares.

If that weren't enough swearing for you, the bride and groom-to-be also tell the "lazy f****" to Google their own taxis and hotels for the occasion and that when it comes to dietary requirements everyone will "eat what the f*** you're given, you fat f***."

People on the Facebook group were quick to brand the invites "horrible" and "tacky".

One person commented: "This isn't cute or funny or original tho."

Another simply said: "This is horrible."

A third added: "I swear like a sailor but I have enough class to not send this s*** to relatives etc. Oof beyond tacky."

"My mum would be horrified if she received this," wrote someone else. "This is not older guest friendly at all. I actually think many older people I know would be so insulted they wouldn't go or even RSVP."
