Forget being the “bad guy,” Billie Eilish is taking her turn at being a Bond girl! Well, kind of. The Grammy winner dropped the theme song to the upcoming James Bond installment, No Time To Die, on Thursday.
On Jan. 14, the official Twitter account for the film made the announcement, revealing that Eilish and her frequent collaborator, older brother Finneas O’Connell, wrote the song together. Not only is this an exciting way to kick off the new year, but it also makes Eilish the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song!
O’Connell added, “Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live And Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.” Listen to the track above now.
