Kathy Ager Pays Homage to the Nike Dunk Low “University Blue” in New Puzzle

Aug 9, 2022

Kathy Ager is a Canadian graphic designer-turned-artist who has a penchant for still-life. Instead of depicting chalices and skulls, she displays her love for Nike and Jordan Brand through meticulously detailed compositions that hark to the 17th-Century Golden Age of Dutch and Spanish painting.

In conjunction with SOONNESS, Ager has released her first puzzle dubbed Gone Coastal. Reminiscent of a print she released in 2021, the artwork features a Nike Dunk Low “University Blue” hovering amongst the clouds. The 1,000 piece puzzle set was made “for those days when you just want to lay in the grass, stare into the clouds and drift away,” said the artist in a statement.

Gone Coastal is made using recycled cardboard and is available to purchase for $58 USD via SOONNESS. The puzzle comes packaged in a collectors box, along with an art postcard, poster and puzzle bag.
