Leaked images of Leica‘s rumored M10-R Black Paint limited edition have now surfaced.

Rumors of the new release first came to light earlier this month, suggesting that a new M10-R Black Paint edition would be announced on June 24 and could carry either a matte or lacquered finish. As the current leaked images indicate, it seems Leica has opted for the latter option, along with subtle redesigns for its various back wheels, the shutter dial as well as the ISO dial to bring fans a more classic, vintage aesthetic.

Performance details have yet to be released, but you can expect the camera to boast the same qualities as the standard M10-R, carrying a 40-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, an ISO range of 100 to 50,000, a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 second, a three-inch rear display, and full compatibility with the German camera maker’s M Series lenses.

Expected to be limited to just 2,000 units made, the upcoming Leica M10-R Black Paint edition is said to retail for roughly $10,000 USD. Stay tuned for more updates to come.
