Contemporary British label Olive has debuted its Spring 2021 menswear collection, delivering a selection of garments that bridge that awkward winter-to-summer period with a variety of layering essentials and more.
Based out in Regency Cheltenham in the South Western part of England, Olive Menswear presents itself as a modern menswear label based around simplisitic designs. Influences are drawn from Japanese and Korean streetwear and workwear, and combines this with a sense of heritage and a clean sensibility to produce collections such as the one you see above.
For Spring 2021, Olive Menswear presents standouts such as the Magnus Faux Leather Jacket, which is a clean black outerwear piece finished with contrasting zips and a jetted pockets on the front. Elsewhere, basics such as a knitted vest is elevated with a rib-stitch fisherman knit aesthetic and a large front pocket, while trousers (arguably Olive Menswear’s strongest area) are served in an array of flattering cuts and finishes, such as the Twill Taylor Pants that feature a straight leg and double pintuck pleats to create an overall workwear-inspired, slightly cropped, but an utterly timeless silhouette.
Rounding out its Spring 2021 offering is the trench coat, denim pieces such as the beautifully voluminous, single-pleated Reiko jeans, and a range of shirts, most notably the Haru Check shirt. Check out a range of pieces in the Jimmy Hood-shot lookbook above, and shop a wider range of goods on Olive’s website.
In case you missed it, here are seven other British menswear brands you’re probably sleeping on.
