Amsterdam-born streetwear label Patta is preparing for winter. Recently, Hypebeast caught up with the brand’s founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt, and explored Patta’s latest collaboration with New Balance and their first-ever sneaker designed specifically for kids. However, childrenswear aside, Patta has just presented a collection of Puffer jackets for Fall/Winter 2022 and they’re some of the brand’s best outerwear pieces to date.
Last winter, Patta experimented heavily with graphics and slogans such as “One People, One Earth” and “Got Love For All,” across a selection of heavy-set coats with padded hoods and body temperature-regulating inners. However, this Fall, Patta has switched up its design process for its puffer jackets and headed towards a metallic theme with reflective panel detailing. These new Ripstop Puffer Jackets — modeled by U.K. rap up-and-comers Oscar #Worldpeace, Benji Flow, Ragz Originale, and RXLLS — are produced in a 100% polyamide crinkly ripstop fabric, while the inside features 100% polyamide quilted lining with polyester padding. For the hood, the jackets feature elastic cords with woojin cord locks that make for easy resizing. A YKK Vislon two-way zipper is also used for closure with elasticated pullers and the coats also come with two side pockets and an inside pocket with added zippers. Rounding off the design, the front side is adorned with a Patta POC patch over the left-hand side of the chest, while the back is designed with large Patta embroidery.
You can have a closer look at the Patta Rip Stop Puffer Jackets above and they will be available on the official Patta website, mobile app, and Patta Chapter stores from October 14 at 11 a.m. GMT (7 a.m. EDT).In other fashion news, take a look at a new Stone Island x New Balance football jersey.
