Plastic surgery addict Sam Barton has gone under the knife yet again but this time for a £3,500 hair transplant.

The bloke, who has been dubbed "Britain's vainest man", was overwhelmed with joy when he found out a mystery admirer had offered him the cash for a procedure in Istanbul, Turkey.

Responding to Sam's crowdfunding page, the businesswoman told him to "stay ruthless" when he thanked her for covering the cost of his entire trip.

According to Birmingham Live, Sam decided to get a full transplant after he became self-conscious about his thinning hair.

He set up a crowdfunding page to pay for the procedure, leading the wealthy businesswoman to get in touch and pay for the whole thing.

Sam, from Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, said: "I wasn't bald but my hair was thin. I felt I was getting old and ugly and I wanted to do something about it.

"I flew over to Istanbul and was taken to a lovely hotel. I then went over to the clinic for the hair transplant. I was given some food, a drink and everything was spoken to me in English so I knew exactly what was going on.

"The transplant went really well and a week on it is coming along very nicely. The aftercare from the team in Turkey has also been very good and they have been checking up on me. The trouble is I have the urge to get something else done now."

Speaking about the mystery admirer, Sam added: "She is very successful and said she admires my bravery and honesty, then she offered to pay for it all.

"It was £3,550 including flights and hotel. I am really grateful for her generosity. Many people will criticise me and question why I didn't pay for it myself but if someone offers then I am not going to say no."

The lad has had a string of operations – including two on the NHS.
