Emmerdale character Belle Dingle is played by actress Eden Taylor-Draper, 24, and she stepped into the role on the soap set in 2005.
Alongside her Emmerdale family, Eden is very close to her off-screen siblings Francesca and Sebastian and grew up in North Yorkshire.
Meanwhile, Eden has been on the hit soap for 16 years now, but what else do we know about her life away from the cameras? Let's take a look…
Who is Eden Taylor-Draper dating?
Eden has a big following on Instagram, where she boasts over 92,000 followers.
On her page, Eden shares pictures with her boyfriend, Ed.
The 24 year old has been with boyfriend Ed for five years now, with the couple celebrating the anniversary of their romance in January.
And it appears things are serious between the pair, as Eden captions one image of her partner with: “I wanna spend my life with you.”
The sweet pair have enjoyed travelling the world together, and Belle attended Ed's graduation at Durham Cathedral in 2019, captioning a sweet snap with "you did it."
Eden's co-star best friends
Eden has a lot of very good friends from Emmerdale.
The actress is very close with Emma Atkins, who plays Charity Tate, as well as Sophie Powles who played Holly Barton on the soap.
The friends headed on a trip to New York in 2018, where they shared plenty of shots together.
Eden before Emmerdale
As she is still in her early twenties, Eden hasn’t starred in many other shows or films during her career.
When Eden was only nine, she starred in a short film called The Cardiac Oak while on Emmerdale.
In 2010, she starred in an Emmerdale special Emmerdale: The Dingles, and in 2011, another special, Emmerdale: Paddy and Marlow’s Big Night In.
Eden's sister Francesca
Eden, who has four siblings, opened up on her younger sister Francesca's heartbreaking cancer diagnosis in 2020.
Francesca underwent intensive chemotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the age of just 14, and Eden told The Mirror: "We’ve got such a strong, family. When our mum puts her mind to something she’s always going to do it. She said, "You are getting better and that’s it. We’re going to get through it"."
Eden said her and sister Francesca have grown closer as a result of the heartbreaking experience, saying: "We’re really close but it’s definitely made our bond much stronger. From the moment Chessie was diagnosed, we’ve been speaking non-stop. From day one of this journey, Chessie’s just smashed it. Even on the bad days she’s still smiled or there’s always been a moment of happiness.
“When Chess went back to school, I couldn’t imagine myself in that position – balancing being a normal child and also going to hospital and my eyelashes falling out. It’s horrendous, but it’s made Chessie who she is and the way we all are now and how we think about life and love each other. I’m beyond proud.”
Eden found out the news while on the set of Emmerdale and described the moment by saying: "When I came off set for my tea break, Dad called and it was such a blur. I felt like someone had ripped my stomach out and I broke down.
“I was with Issy Hodgins, who plays Victoria [Sugden], when I got the call, and she just held me for ages. I couldn’t go back to do my next scene. But Emmerdale were so supportive and let me go see Chess at Leeds General hospital straight away.”
