Inside Jamie Redknapps romance with model Frida Andersson-Lourie as pair tie the knot

Oct 18, 2021

Jamie Redknapp and model Frida Andersson-Lourie have tied the knot in a low-key ceremony alongside their nearest and dearest.

The football pundit, 48, who is expecting his first baby with Frida, wed at the Chelsea Registry Office on Monday 18 October with his parents Harry and Sandra Redknapp in attendance following his split from ex-wife Louisa Redknapp in 2017.

Frida looked every inch the blushing bride in a white midi dress with a bardot neckline as she walked hand-in-hand with her husband.

But who is Frida? Here is everything you need to know…

Frida is a model and was previously signed with a specialist agency for women over 25 called Mrs Robinson Management.

The 37 year old has starred in campaigns for the likes of Escada and is a regular face at fashion events and parties.

Frida is now signed with Next Model Management and she measures 5'10, with a 7.5 UK shoe size and 26.5" waist, according to her model card.

Like Jamie, 47, Frida is a divorcee and was previously married to 58 year old American hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.

Jonathan is a successful American hedge-fund expert and has co-founded an asset management fund firm.

The businessman appeared on the Sunday Times Rich List 2013 and it is estimated to have a net worth of £60million.

Frida was born in Sweden, however, has lived in London since her modelling career took off.

The marriage means the pair will also have new roles to fill as step parents – as they each have children from previous relationships.

Stunning model Frida has four children US hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie. The protective mum keeps their names and faces out the spotlight while Jamie shares two sons, Charley, 16, and Beau, 12, with Louise.

“Jamie feels ready to move on from his marriage to Louise”, a source previously told The Sun, “and is happy to be doing it with someone who has kids too and is financially stable”.

“It’s early days for Frida and Jamie but they have grown close and are really enjoying spending time together when they can,” the source added.

Frida is also believed to have also been very understanding about Jamie juggling fatherhood and his successful TV career.

“He likes that she’s also a parent so she fully appreciates the balance,” the source told The Sun in 2020.

Despite splitting from Louise, the devoted dad had nothing but good things to say about his ex.

Praising Louise for supporting their son Charley at his rugby games, Jamie added: "His mum's brilliant."

The couple were said to be "delighted" over their baby news, with a source telling The Sun in June 2021: "They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.”

“Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again — less excited about the sleepless nights, and nappy-changing.

“But both he and Frida will be brilliant, hands-on parents.”
