Inside Wayne and Coleen Rooneys stunning £6m Cheshire mansion with glass walls and grand staircase

Oct 26, 2021

Coleen and Wayne Rooney both come from humble beginnings, but the celebrity couple's lifestyle today is far from what they grew up with.

Former England footy pro Wayne, 36, and wife Coleen, 35, met as teens and grew up on a council estate in Croxteth, Liverpool.

Wayne proposed to his other half on a petrol station forecourt aged only 17, a year after hitting it big in his sporting career, and the rest is history.

The couple are thought to have a combined net worth of around £150 million, and have four sons, raising them in luxury.

The Rooneys have definitely had their ups and downs, but the childhood sweethearts have done an excellent job with 11 year old Kai, eight year old Klay, five year old Kit, and youngest son Cass, three.

All six of them live in a huge mansion in swanky Cheshire, estimated to be worth around £6million.

Busy mum Coleen has carved out a career as an influencer and product endorser off the back of her WAG status, and she's amassed an impressive social media following in the process.

Boasting a huge 897k followers on the platform, the stunning Scousers frequently posts updates of family life, and shares glimpses into her and Wayne's home.

The gigantic Cheshire property features a glamorous entrance which is comparable to that of Cher Horowitz's in the '90s film Clueless, complete with huge white pillars standing either side of the massive front door.

The Georgian-style mansion has high ceilings throughout, and even has luxe glass walls inside.

Despite being a period property, the Rooney crib has plenty of modern features as well as traditional elements such as their grand wooden staircase.

As you enter the home, the glossy cream tiled flooring and spotlights give a modern-day twist to the old-fashioned stairway, which the boys frequently pose on for back-to-school snaps.

The back of the home is incredibly bright, with plenty of huge windows allowing for loads of natural light to flood into the conservatory and the kitchen.

Coleen often posts images of the heart of the home, which has a traditional country-style feel to the wooden cupboards, but have been given a chic matte grey painted update.

It also has a sizeable kitchen island, perfect for the boys to eat their breakfast at before school.

Their conservatory features plenty of cosy chairs and sofas, and has windows looking out onto their massive back garden.

The grassy back yard looks perfect for the boys to practice their football skills, and when the Euros were on, Coleen even decked out the garden with a 100-inch screen so they could have an outdoor cinema experience.

A snap showing off the mum's footy-adorned cinema also shows a play park, built for the boys.

It has slides, a climbing frame, a wooden tower and plenty of other bits to tire out the younger kids, such as a game of noughts and crosses.

A property as large as theirs will of course have more than one living room, and one of their most impressive rooms in the house is their glass-walled sitting area.

For Klay's seventh birthday last year, Coleen decked out the whole room with blue balloons, including some giant ones which read out his name.

The Instagram snap gave her follows a peek at the very lavish interiors, which are enough to make anyone jealous.

Upstairs the couple sleep in a super-sized bed, with a quilted grey headboard so large it nearly takes up the whole wall.

Wayne was seen with his sons on father's day, as they all bundled into the huge family bed with their father.

Coleen posted the snap of all her boys, captioning it with a blue love heart emoji.
