Lidl is offering cash off for those doing their shopping at the supermarket in December. So, how does it work?

Britons can cash in on £12 at Lidl if they spend over £200.

To get the deal you need to act fast, as it is only applicable in December.

Also, customers can only get the deal on the supermarket’s app, the Lidl Plus app.

After downloading the Lidl plus app, customers will get a £2 coupon when spending £100 this month.

If they spend another £100 then customers will receive £10.

Make sure to scan the Lidl Plus card using the app when shopping to track what you spend and get the money off.

The coupons should appear automatically on the app.

They also need to be used within seven days and can be used at any Lidl store.

There are 15 days left to cash in on this offer.

However, he does have his tips to tackle price hikes.

He had a number of tips to help with saving cost for delivery.

The first is doing click and collect where possible or shopping in-store, but only if you are able to.

Click and collect is free at Asda and free for orders over £40 at Sainsbury’s.

There are delivery passes available, which if you shop often will work out cheaper.

Sainsbury’s annual passes are available to new customers, at £60 a year of £30 for midweek deliveries only.

Martin also gave fans advice on Tesco delivery.
