Cleaning-obsessives have shared a tip for preventing limescale from building up on shower screens which takes “seconds”.
We all know how annoying it is when glass showers turn cloudy and are covered in watermarks and little limescale bubbles.
It can take time to scrub off the marks and then they’re back as soon as you shower.
But, fans of cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch took to a hinching Facebook to share their top tricks and hacks for preventing limescale buildup.
And, one simple change in routine will keep your shower door gleaming and mark-free, reports the Express.

A social media user wrote: “Just wondering if anybody has tips to shift this?
“I use Viakal about every two weeks but need something to sort the build up (don’t mind a bit of scrubbing!).”
You can buy Viakal at Asda for £2 and it’s super effective, but didn’t cut the mustard as a preventative.
And, hundreds of posters answered the query – with many agreeing on the best method.
One woman wrote: “I use a window squeegee thing after I use the shower!
“Helps loads at preventing build up when you finally get it cleaned.”
“I use a squeegee after every shower which stops any water marks afterwards,” added another.
While a third said: “I keep a squeegee and bottle of Viakal in the shower and just give it a quick squirt and squeegee it down every time.
"It takes seconds.”

And a fourth noted: “I used a squeegee after every shower then takes off most of water and helps stop the mould as well at bottom.”
It seems like the answer was unanimous – squeegee the shower screen!
And, if you want to keep things extra shiny then squirt it with some limescale remover first.
You can pick up a squeegee on Amazon for just £1.99.
