It’s troubling times for many in Neighbours this week as one family is dealt a huge blow when a long-kept secret is finally out, another is coping with the loss of a loved one, and another gets a visitor who seems to be nothing but trouble.

Kyle (Chris Milligan) and Levi (Richie Morris) are in for a tough time when the awful truth that Sheila (Colette Mann) has been keeping close to her chest finally comes pouring out. Levi is left feeling completely betrayed, while Kyle doesn’t know what to think. Will the truth destroy them?

Bea (Bonnie Anderson) is facing life without her family and she’s not coping. Is Bea heading for a downward spiral?

Emmett (Justin Ezra) receives a visitor that could set him on a very wrong path indeed. Can Aaron (Matt Wilson) and David (Takaya Honda) save him before it’s too late?

Here’s what’s ahead in Neighbours.

Bea’s meltdown

Bea shocks when she has a sudden outburst of anger at the Waterhole. It’s so out of character for her that it’s obvious there’s something bigger going on here. Levi tries to get to the bottom of things and Bea confesses she’s holding onto so much rage from Finn, he’s cost her everything. She’s now even lost her sister all because of what he did. She’s distraught and Levi vows to help her work through their issues. Could they become more than friends or is Bea about to go off the rails?

Emmett at risk from older brother?

Emmett snaps at school when he’s given a pop quiz and the panic causes him to lash out. This poor lad is carrying a lot of anxiety on his shoulders. Aaron and David are further shocked when his brother Brent arrives in town. At such an unsettled time they know it could be damaging for Emmett to fall under a bad influence, and their worst fears come true in Brent. He quickly lets Emmett know he plans for the two of them to live together when he gets a place for them which upsets Aaron and David, they’re worried about him filling Em’s head with ideas, but also know how troubling it would be if Brent did decide to take his brother away. Aaron and David are further perturbed when Brent takes his brother to the city and keeps him out until the early morning. The couple discuss what’s happening, deciding between them Brent is bad for Emmett. But Brnet overheard and flies into a rage before storming out. Aaron tracks him down and as the two have an heart to heart Brent reveals the trauma he’s been through and how deeply he ants to be with his brother. Aaron has an idea. But how will David take it and will it turn out to be a bad idea?

Karl meddles in Jane’s life

Karl learns that Jane has broken up with Des and keeps the fact to himself. But he is forced to confessed to Susan that he’s been in touch with Jane when he realises she’s been lying to Paul and sees she is spiralling downwards after her split and needs friends to call on. He decides he wants to help get Jane back in touch with her estranged daughter Nicolette, but Karl is shocked to hear the reason behind their estrangement when he meets up with Jane’s daughter – when Nicolette came out Jane said she couldn’t support her. Nicolette is left upset by their meeting and heads to the Waterhole to drown her sorrows where she meets Chloe, and she thinks she senses some sparks. Will Nicolette make a move on Chloe?

The shocking truth about Levi

Levi decides to try and help smooth things over between Roxy and Sheila with a barbecue. During the family gathering talk turns to Kyle’s childhood, then much to Sheila’s dismay it turns to Levi’s. He reveals he was once badly attacked during a house invasion and has suffered with nightmares ever since. As talk continues and he starts to thank his gran for everything she’s done for him, Sheila’s guilt builds and she snaps. She confesses that the violent intruders had really been there for Kyle, but she was so afraid for what he’d got mixed up in, she kept quiet at the time. But she begs them to believe her that she had no idea Levi would continue to suffer so much. Levi ins horrified by her revelation and storms out, and Kyle is just as disgusted. Will Sheila’s revelation destroy the Cannings?

What’s happening to Shane?

Shane’s uni work is taking over his life and starting to cause him big problems – it’s even coming between him and his family. He’s due to take Nell to her school concert but he tells Dipi he has assignments and a group task that he has to complete, and therefore can’t help. Dipi hits back by reminding him Nell comes first, but when it comes to the crunch he decides to prioritise Uni, leaving Nell without a chaperone. Dipi is fuming and is forced to accept a favour from Pierce who steps in so she can sort the situation out, leaving Chloe impressed by his generous gesture. Shane on the other hand is only making things worse for himself. Shane is usually such a family man, what is going on with him that makes him turn his back on his loved ones?

Mackenzie’s brainwave

Mackenzie is desperate to keep on top of things following her gender confirmation surgery, but she has a big assignment on sustainability to do and needs to come up with an idea for it, and sharpish. When Dipi gushes about the luxuriousness of Toadie’s hotel overlooking port Douglas, Mackenzie gets an idea.
