The Strawberry Moon on June 24 will be the final Supermoon of the year. Supermoons are just more intense Full Moons, which normally cause tiredness, tension, erratic behaviour and restlessness but also a chance to banish everything that is causing you problems in your life. Express.co.uk chatted to renowned psychic and wellness advocate, Inbaal, thanks to Psychicworld.com to find out how to mark this occasion.
Summer Solstice was on Monday, June 21, the end of Mercury Retrograde was on Tuesday, June 22 and on June 24 there will be a Supermoon in Capricorn.
The Moon doesn’t orbit around the earth in a perfectly shaped circle, its orbit is more of an elliptical or oval shape.
Because of this, at some points of the month, the Moon is closer to the Earth than others and this causes a Supermoon.
Supermoons are more intense Full Moons and depending on what sign the Moon is in, the different energies are amplified.
Psychic Inbaal said: “The Supermoon will inevitably cause a cavalcade of emotions, exhaustion, and increased levels of anxiety.”
The Moon’s energy is stronger during a supermoon and you may feel totally drained.
Inbaal said: “Full moons are known to be psychically and mentally draining, so no matter your sleep schedule, we all will be feeling exhausted.”
The psychic advised: “Take some time across the next three days of the Full Moon to be totally still. Sit or lay motionless for at least 10 minutes – and do nothing.
Don’t scroll, don’t speak, don’t even meditate. Just be aware that your body isn’t moving. This is when healing happens.”
Lounging around in silence doesn’t mean it’s time to fill your plate with beige, unhealthy foods.
Inbaal says you should do the opposite and really try to be super healthy around a Full Moon.
She explained: “Another way to combat the side effects of enlightenment caused by a Full Moon is to make a point of nourishing yourself so that you have the strength to stay on top of things.
“Focus on incorporating fresh, raw, vegetarian ingredients into your diet over this time.”
Stillness should be a priority for a small chunk of the day, but you should still try to get outside in nature for a part of the day.
Inbaal said: “There is nothing more calming than the natural world and at a time when our emotions are running wild, stopping for a minute and enjoying the surroundings of a natural space will be nothing but positive.
“Stare at the Moon, go on a walk or go for a swim at a time where bodies of water are at their peak energy.”
Your emotions might be a little bit wobbly, but keeping on top of your health and wellbeing is super important right now.
Inbaal added: “Once you can resign yourself to the healing properties of a Full Moon you can control and channel these stirring emotions correctly.
“Writing, something largely believed to be inspired by the Moon, is the perfect way to express and stabilise your thoughts and creativity.
“The Full Moon’s healing properties offer a time to accept and forgive.
“To embody your forgiveness, write transgressions on small bits of paper and cast them into running water, or burn them safely in a fireproof dish under a Full Moon.”
Don’t forget to charge those crystals under the Supermoon!
Inbaal advised: “This is a perfect time to charge your crystals because of the Moon’s intense spiritual energy.
“Take every Full Moon as an opportunity to charge and cleanse your tools.”
