Woman shares 2 simple Uber safety hacks so police can trace if you go missing

A women has urged everyone to use a safety hack that keeps her safe while travelling alone on rideshare apps such as Uber.

Brienna shared what she learned from TikTok and has tried to spread the word out so women can protect themselves in case they find themselves in any dangerous situations.

She said: "Ever since a girl on TIkTok said she leaves hair and fingerprints in all her Ubers rides, I leave hair and fingerprints in all my Ubers too."

Her video shows her dropping a strand of hair on the seat and leaving her fingerprints by touching the window.

"Ladies, am I right? I love being a woman," she added.

The clip was viewed nearly 30 million times and viewers shared their thoughts on using sharing carpooling services such as Uber and Bolt.

One commented: "Wow I've never even thought about this. That's hella smart."

"How sad we have to do this…" a second wrote. "I can't believe how long it took me to realise what this meant. I am not careful enough."

A third reminded others in the comments: "Remember DNA can only be extracted from hairs with roots attached!"

"Do not put the fingerprints on each other, put them separately and get some oil from your roots of your hair, it will help," a fourth added.

Last year, a woman took the opportunity to share her street-smart tips to make themselves difficult to be followed by stalkers.

Kaylen Zahara suggested people to go to different coffee shops all the time and do different things to change up the routine so stalkers won't be able to track you down easily.

"Do certain things that throw people off – get the alarm system on every time you get your front door open, let that s*** ring hell aloud so that everybody will know," she added in her video.
