This Morning regular Holly Willoughby took an unexpected break from her presenting role on the hit ITV show today leaving fans stunned.
Fans had expected the blonde babe, who co-hosts the show Monday through Thursday, to return to the small screen as usual for Wednesday's edition.
However, has was replaced by Alison Hammond who stepped in to fill her shoes.
Keen to stop Holly's absence start the rumour mill turning, ITV said the 39-year-old simply was "having a well-deserved day off today".
On Tuesday evening Holly took to social media but gave no hint of her impending time off.
The TV regular logged into her official Instagram account to show off her Christmas decorations.
Posing next to a stunning Christmas tree adorned with with pine cones and snow, Holly showcased her natural beauty in the snap.
She captioned the post: "Through the years/ We'll always be together/ If the Fates allow/ Hang a shining star upon the highest bough… The most beautiful door display."
The year there have been calls for the nation to put up their decoctions early to help spread cheer after a tough year.
As well as picking up thousands of likes, Holly's post was quickly flooded with message from fans.
One supporter wrote: "Looks stunning Holly."
Another added: "Wow this is magical."
A third continued: "Beautiful, lets hope the fate allows this year."
"I'm so jealous," a fourth replied.

Last weekend reports claimed that Alison Hammond is on the cusp of being a regular full-time presenter on This Morning.
The roving reporter is said to have bagged a deal to present the show on Friday's alongside former X Factor host Dermot O'Leary.
The move will mean that Alison and Dermot will replace long standing This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
A rep for ITV failed to deny the claims but did add Eamonn and Ruth are part of the This Morning family, though new additions may be confirmed in due course.
