Kanye West has revealed today was the first time he has voted in his life and he voted for himself.
The rapper and fashion designer, who is married to Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four children North, Chicago, Saint and Psalm, also wants to add President of the United States to his résumé.
The 43-year-old took to his official Twitter account to let his fans know that he voted for the first time in his life and that it was "for someone I truly trust… me" after he made a late play for the White House earlier this year.
Taking to his account on Election Day he updated fans.
Kanye tweeted: "God is so good.
"Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust…me."
Kanye didn't make it clear if he casted his vote in one of the states where he is a nominee or whether he wrote himself onto the ballot – which he has encouraged his fans to do on numerous occasions.
He is an official presidential candidate in 12 US states including Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Iowa, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, West Virginia and Vermont.

The singer is also a write-in candidate in five states including Alabama, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Kanye is also listed as a vice presidential candidate alongside American Independent party presidential nominee Rocky De La Fuente in California.
This year, on Independence Day, Kanye announced via his Twitter that he would take on Donald Trump and run for president himself.
He tweeted on July 4: "We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States!"
He then held his first presidential rally in South Carolina in July where he sobbed on stage as he made the bombshell claim that he and wife Kim had considered aborting their eldest child North.
Kanye said between sobs: "In the Bible, it says, 'Thou shall not kill.' I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking – because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, [had] different girlfriends and everything – and she said, 'I'm pregnant.'
"And I said, 'Yes!' And then I said, 'Uh oh'."
