Marnie welcomed her second child Oak, with fiancé Casey Johnson, 27, in May this year. The two have another son, two-year-old Rox.

In the picture the 30-year-old posted to her 5.2 million followers, Oak can be seen wearing a specially made helmet designed to help his plagiocephaly.

She wrote: “So baby Oax had his helmet fitted yesterday and his plagiocephaly treatment has begun, to say I’m feeling overwhelmed is an understatement!

“But I trust the process and I know it’s going to be a Journey for us as a family, and it’s going to take some serious perseverance from me and Casey but the guys @technologyinmotion are so comforting and have made me feel as content as possible about the whole experience!"

She added: "I’ll document the whole progress made for everyone to see and I’ll keep everyone up to date how we’re getting on if anyone wants any advice my DM is always open."

Fans and friends of the MTV star rushed to the comment section to share their support for the star.

Proud dad Casey commented underneath the pictures of his son: "love him xxx."

While pal Sophie Kasaei said: "Oh my little squish.”

“Cutest little man,” one fan penned.

While another wrote: “You got this,” followed by a love heart emoji.

“You’re doing what’s best and he will 100% thank you in the future,” a third added.

“He is the cutest and this just makes him even more of a superhero,” wrote another fan.

A lot of people also shared their own experiences with plagiocephaly and applauded Marnie for being open about their journey.

One Instagram user said: "I applaud you for sharing your journey, you'll be a help to so many, thank you."

“My son has this. Been having treatment since January. Best decision we ever made,” a second added.
