Maya Jama has shared rare family snaps with fans ahead of her debut as Love Island host.

The 28-year-old presenter will jet off to South Africa in the coming day to present the nineth edition of the ITV2 dating show.

Before flying away, Maya enjoyed some quality time with her nearest and dearest.

She documented her Christmas celebrations with her 2.4million followers on Instagram.

In one snap, Maya can be seen posing with her rarely-seen brother Omar 25.

They can be seen standing either side of another relative while making a hand gesture, with Maya wearing a bright orange and purple cardigan and skirt and Omar opting for grey tracksuit.

She looked stunning as ever for the special occasion, with her signature raven tresses tucked behind her ears and donning a full face of make-up.

Another snap shared by the TV personality showed the siblings and another younger family member called Che, all wearing eye masks from her brand MIJ Masks.

She captioned the picture: "Family pamper", and then went on to take a selfie video in a mirror showing them enjoying the relaxing session.

"Guess who's going to the football tonight!" Maya told fans in the short clip, as she proudly donned her West Ham football shirt.

She then asked her brother: 'Wait, who do you actually support Omar?', who is wearing a Sweden national football team shirt like Che. "And I am West Ham!" Maya exclaims.

It comes after ITV dropped the first teaser trailers for upcoming series of Love Island.

Maya struck a gorgeous pose in the short-but-sweet clip that was unveiled on December 26.

She looked incredible as she rocked a black sequinned jumpsuit with gold embellished star sign detailing.

In the second teaser, a velvet bejewelled bucking bronco can be seen doing around in a circle with a love heart printed on one of its sides.

The winter series of Love Island will be returning to screens in January but an exact date is yet to be revealed.
