Noel Gallagher vows to start own political party after calling Labour a disgrace

Dec 28, 2021

Noel Gallagher, one half of the famous Oasis brother duo and front man of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, has voiced his disgust with the current state of the Labour party.

Although Noel is worth an estimated £46 million he has never forgotten where he came from. His working class background, originating in Manchester has meant that he continued to vote Labour, but his recent feelings towards the Labour party have changed his outlook.

54 year old Noel said: "I f***ing hate the Labour Party, they’re a f***ing disgrace."

"They’ve betrayed the working classes, they’ve betrayed ordinary people and they’ve allowed this shower to run the country for however long they’ve f***ing run the country."

“The modern Labour Party is middle-class ****s who f***ing hate the working class, they hate them, it’s as simple as that. I haven’t voted for years. Anyone in their right mind who does take part in that whole circus is a f***ing idiot."

Noel’s previous faith in the Labour party ran deep and he even announced his views at the 1997 Brit Awards during the reign of Conservative government. He said that he thought Labour “was giving a little hope to the young people in this country.”

He was pictured shaking hands with Tony Blair at Downing Street celebrating the election two months later and but lost his confidence in the party when Blair resigned ten years later.

Now, 24 years after his initial speech about the Labour party, Noel has said that he has considered starting his own political campaign: “They are not capable of running an after-show party. I should start a new party called the After Show Party, that would be great.”

He also poked at the current Prime Minister Boris Johnson, saying that his party’s reign was only possible due to the diminishing funds of his opponents.

It is not known whether his brother Liam shares his dream, but recent interviews have proven that their infamous family feud is still ongoing. Liam recently called Christmas at Noel’s a “snoremass” as he took to Twitter to wish his fans well.

One Twitter user asked him: “Do you think Noel invited you to spend Christmas with him?”

The rock singer replied: “I’ve been round his for Christmas before, it’s boring as f***. Snoremass. I’ll stay at mine, we know how to have fun.”
