Following Freddie Mercury’s death in 1991, Queen released their final album Made In Heaven featuring the late singer’s posthumous vocals. While not long afterwards bassist John Deacon retired from the music industry. Of course, Brian May and Roger Taylor have kept Queen going with Paul Rodgers and now Adam Lambert, although no new songs have be released other than the charity single You Are The Champions.

However, Queen and Adam Lambert have in fact been working on new music together.

Roger confirmed the news in an interview with MOJO, but admitted that Brian wasn’t as keen on it anymore.

The Queen drummer, who was promoting his new solo album Outsider, shared: “Well, Brian suddenly lost interest and I don’t really know why. We started it in Nashville when we were all quite tired.

“We couldn’t decide on a title and the lyric felt a little too negative for Queen, maybe.”
