After weeks of trying, Nicole finally won her first Head of Household competition during Double Eviction. She nominated Christie and Tommy and sent the boutique owner, one of the biggest threats left in the house, to Jury.
Even though her HoH reign is already over in one night, she received an incredible Head of Household basket that included pictures, a heartfelt letter, and personal gifts from her close-knit family. What did her goodies include? Keep reading to find out.
‘Big Brother 21’ Nicole’s pictures
She received three framed pictures: one of her dog, Georgia Peach, another with her family, and a photo of her as a baby with her grandmother, Mary. Nicole went on to explain the background stories of the pictures, saying the photos of her family and Georgia were taken on the same day; a week before she entered the Big Brother house.
In the family picture, her mother, Kathy, father, Jerry, and her two sisters are sitting on a bench while the preschool aide laid across all their laps. She also detailed the story behind her picture with her grandmother, explaining she didn’t know the picture existed after her mother’s mom passed away. Then, Nicole found out that her grandmother kept that photo on her dresser next to her bed until the day she died.
Nicole’s letter from her parents
“To my little peanut, hi! It’s mom and dad dropping you a line to tell you how proud we are of you. The accomplishments that you are making and the way that you handle yourself make us feel that we did a good job raising you. We miss you a lot. I know it’s hard being away from us for so long, but every day is one day closer to winning and coming home. Its like part of our family is incomplete without you.”
After reading this part, Nicole put her hand over her face and began to cry. She skimmed the letter a little bit further and said, “It’s my mom. My mom wrote it.” Nicole then continued reading.
“I still go on walks to the store, but it’s not the same without you. I came to realize that this Mama Bird had to let her baby bird leave the nest and fly solo and you did just that. We miss you so much and cannot wait to see you again.”
Her mom mentioned missing Nicole when her dad eats corn on the cob, and she explained the hilarious story to her Houseguests. She sits next to her father at the dinner table, and when he bites into his corn on the cob, the juice squirts all over Nicole, and she said she “yells every time.”
She then finished up her letter, reading: “You are always on our minds and in our hearts. And, don’t worry, Dad and I are doing great, and so is Meg and Kay. Take care, and remember how much we love and miss you, and how you’re making us, and Long Island, proud. Hugs and kisses, mom and dad.” Her parents ended the letter by telling Nicole that the dogs also miss her.
Nicole’s gifts as Head of Household
One of the first things noticed in Nicole’s basket was an adorable pair of unicorn slippers. She also received a massive box of Lucky Charms, which included three new unicorn-shaped treats.
Additionally, Nicole’s Head of Household basket included a headband, scrunchies, Little Debbie snacks, a sweatshirt from home, ombre socks, several different types of chocolate, Doritos, Rosé wine, and a Pop TV owl-shaped mug.
Her family also handpicked items for her and she knew who got her what. For example, she knew the Unicorn Poop candy treats came from her mother because she gets them at the Dollar Tree where they often walk to and pick up snacks.
She also knew her sisters picked out the Combos for her as an inside joke because when her sister asked her dad for them, he thought she said condoms. With such personal goodies, Nicole seemingly has received the best HoH basket this season so far. Who will be the next Head of Household? Watch Big Brother Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS to find out.
