Sep 19, 2021

[SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers ahead for Big Brother 23 Week 11 Head of Household, nominations, and Power of Veto winner.]

Following the second Double Eviction of the season, the remaining four houseguests battled for their spot in the final three. Xavier Prather won Head of Household, securing the first spot. Who won the Power of Veto, and does it change the target?

The Cookout trimmed to four after the second Double Eviction

After the alliance made history by advancing all of its members to the final six, Kyland Young took the first shot by breaking his pact with Tiffany Mitchell, targeting her, as he decided to side with the guys.

Following her unanimous elimination, the remaining five battled for safety in the second Double Eviction. Azah Awasum narrowly beat out Xavier Prather, becoming Head of Household.

Also siding with the guys, she went after their agreed-upon next casualty, Hannah Chaddha. The latter joined the jury behind her closest ally, Tiffany, after failing to secure the Power of Veto.

The final four houseguests faced off for their spot in finale night.

Xavier Prather crowned Head of Household for ‘Big Brother 23’ Week 11

Headed into the Head of Household competition, Xavier was in the best spot as Kyland used the POV on him, saving him from the block during the double eviction.

Additionally, he has final two deals with everyone remaining, including an unspoken one with Azah. Still, Xavier gunned for the HOH, winning it to guarantee he could compete for safety during the finale night.

Believing the nominations didn’t matter as much as it came down to the Power of Veto winner, he chose to affirm his loyalty to Big D by keeping him safe and nominated Azah, who had yet to see the block and Kyland.

Although he noted he doesn’t care who joins him and Big D in the final three, Xavier wouldn’t mind getting Kyland out, his biggest competition threat, at this stage.

He also won Power of Veto

Before making nominations, Xavier wondered if Big D would be willing to evict Kyland, reneging on the final three pact made between the Cookout males.

Additionally, he wanted the former Joker to get the “blood on his hands” by going after Kyland, as it would get rid of the competition threat but in a way where he would vote for Xavier at the end.

Before the POV began, Big D thought he jeopardized his game by questioning Kyland about what he would do with the Veto before nominations. Therefore, he thought Kyland would choose Azah if he won the POV. However, Xavier won it, and he will likely keep the nominations the same, putting pressure on Big D to choose.

As he has a pact with Kyland and the final three with the guys, Big D will likely evict his best friend, Azah. However, there’s a chance he might take the shot against Kyland, especially if Xavier subtly encourages it. The Veto competition airs Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 10/9 Central on CBS.
