In tonight's Coronation Street, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) gets caught cheating on dying wife Sinead (Katie McGlynn) with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon).
The new dad is struggling with his grief already but makes a mistake in tonight's double bill and is caught out by dad Ken Barlow (Bill Roache).
Sinead's family Beth (Lisa George), Kirk (Andrew Whyment) and Craig (Colson Smith) decide to surprise her with an early Christmas as she won't make it to the real thing.
But Daniel is worried about the idea, suggesting that Sinead would be too weak to cope with the excitement, though she thinks it's a brilliant idea.

Actress Katie McGlynn was reported to be leaving the soap but denied it until more recently.
She previously tweeted: "I have not 'quit' Corrie, I am contracted will into this year and am fully committed to our long-running storyline, we do not know the outcome as of yet, which is how we like it!"
However, with Sinead dying, the actress obviously is leaving the ITV soap.
Coronation Street continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
