Dancing On Ice 2022 full line-up revealed as Kimberley Wyatt joins Sally Dynevor and Love Island's Liberty on show

Oct 12, 2021

DANCING On Ice's line-up is complete with Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt joining Love Island's Liberty Poole on the show.

The eclectic mix of stars includes The Vamps' Connor Ball, BMX rider Kye Whyte, dancer Brendan Cole and broadcaster Ria Hebden.

Coronation Street's Sally Dynevor, rugby ace Ben Foden, Paralympian Stefanie Reid, signer Rachel Stevens, Gazza's son Regan and Happy Mondays dancer Bez complete the 12-strong line-up.

The new-look show is set to feature former Strictly star Arlene Phillips on the judging panel as a replacement for the axed John Barrowman.

The dance legend, 78, is in advanced talks about returning to prime-time TV for the first time since the BBC axed her from Strictly in 2009.

She will join Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean behind the desk.

A TV insider said: “The fact that Arlene is a mature woman with decades of experience in the dance world is seen as a huge asset for Dancing on Ice.

"In contrast to what people see as her harsh treatment by Strictly, ITV bosses see her seniority as a brilliant way to create a diverse panel of experts on the show.

“It means the DOI judges are now made of two men and two women spanning an extensive age range.”

Love Islander Liberty is already a front-runner with the bookies.

It comes after she admitted to skating in her spare time, while other such as Sally and Bez said they need the help of stability penguin on the ice.

Liberty said: "I grew up watching Dancing On Ice and my mum actually used to be a figure skater.

"I ice skate as a hobby sometimes so I can get around the rink but I can't do any tricks, no pirouetting or anything so I'm really looking forward to pushing myself and learning as much as I possibly can. Not just skating around the ice but actually dancing on ice. Bring it on!"
