Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) is completely out of his depth after taking a loan from gangster Gavin (Ben Richards) and his investors in Emmerdale.
With Al hungry to get his hands on the Woolpack, his schemes have hit several obstacles and he ends up missing payments to Gavin.
Metro.co.uk recently revealed a major fire storyline after we caught sight of images shown the pub burnt out. So could Al be the one responsible?
Al is pressured by Gavin to get Chas and Marlon to sell. When a big, muscley man menacingly gets out of Gavin’s car, Al’s heart sinks as he knows what’s coming.
Later, on Christmas Day, still reeling from his beating yesterday, Al gets a threatening message from Gavin and is later disturbed to catch Gavin talking to Ellis. Feeling the pressure, Al gazes back at the Woolpack and comes up with a plan to get out of this nightmare.
Is this how the fire starts?
And as Al takes dangerous action, will lives be put at risk as things spiral out of control.
It may be a deadly Christmas in the Dales…
