Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher looked nothing like his usual self in one of his first ever TV appearances.
The Strictly Come Dancing star kicked off his soap career back in 1996 when he first took on the role of Andy Sugden – a role he maintained for two decades until finally quitting the show in 2016.
But before that, he made his name as a child actor in shows like Three Seven Eleven, Heartbeat and even one episode of Coronation Street as an unnamed "lad" in 1996.

Though Kelvin has mostly ditched the acting lifestyle to run his family farm, which was the subject of TV documentary Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure earlier in 2022, he is still periodically making television appearances.
His most recent acting role came in an episode of McDonald & Dodds, while he’s also starred in drama The Teacher and Death in Paradise in recent years.
But it’s in one episode of Cracker that the Andy Sugden star looks completely unrecognisable.
He starred as a boy in 1994 episode The Big Crunch: Part 3 alongside Harry Potter star Robbie Coltrane.
In the episode, Kelvin appears dressed in a bottle green school uniform complete with red-and-yellow striped tie as he runs up to Coltrane’s character Dr Fitz to extort him out of cash to run an errand.
Demanding his £4 reward, Dr Fitz fumes: “You said 50 pence!” as the lad cheekily responds: “Each way!”
When a fan shared the sweet clip with him on Twitter, Kelvin was left in hysterics as he responded: “Haha! I still remember that haircut!” with a cry-laughing emoji.
Kelvin isn’t the only actor who started young in his family, as his brother Brayden Fletcher also landed a role in Coronation Street as a teen.
In one 2016 episode of Corrie, Brayden appeared as an unnamed youth, who was determined to torment Chesney Brown while he was working at the kebab shop.
Two youngsters were set on terrorising Chesney, refusing to pay for their food and knocking over the bottles of mustard and ketchup – and Brayden bore an uncanny resemblance to his older brother.

Taking to Twitter at the time, an incredibly proud Kelvin wrote: “Who saw my little brother @Brayden_Fletch making his TV debut on @itvcorrie last night? He did great! Very proud!”
A fan quickly replied: “Was he one of the thugs terrorising poor Chesney?” – but, undeterred, Kelvin answered: “Yep!”
