Jan 5, 2023

ESCAPE to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge have left fans emotional as they reflect on the past year in a poignant New Year message.

The couple rose to fame thanks to their antics on the popular Channel 4 series which documents their lives at the Chateau and the fun and chaos that came with it.

However the programme ended on an impressive run earlier this year and now the pair have looked back on their year in a lengthy Instagram message.

The pair opened their post by saying: "We hope you have had some wonderful family time over the festive period.

"We certainly have been enjoying life at the Chateau at a different pace, and have been enjoying chatting about our last year over the holidays, but with Arthur & Dorothy back at school today, our Christmas hibernation is officially over!"

Teasing that ending filming on their reality TV series has opened up 'more time' for them, the pair excited fans by revealing a number of new projects could be on the way.

The Instagram post continued: "We also have two imminent big events on the horizon.

"Arthur is turning 10 and has decided that this year, a ‘Boom' or as we know it, ‘Disco', is on the cards…then, we plan to have enough time to tidy the Chateau before we head off to Australia & New Zealand for our Dare-to-do-it tour."
