“Jeopardy James” and his kingslayer might meet again.
With the 2019 Tournament of Champions on the way, “Jeopardy!” has revealed its lineup of contestants. Unsurprisingly, mega-winner James Holzhauer, the professional gambler who racked up $2.46 million in winnings in just 32 days, is coming back. And so too is Emma Boettcher, the librarian who ended his streak with a perfect $46,801 game. It’s an intriguing possible rematch.
They’re just two of the 15 previous winners who will have the chance to compete for the tournament’s $250,000 grand prize. They’re joined by Josh Hill, Ryan Fenster, Kyle Jones, Anneke Garcia, Rob Worman, Alan Dunn, Steven Grade, Gilbert Collins, Rachel Lindgren, Eric R. Backes, Lindsey Schultz, Francois Barcomb, and Druv Gaur. They all hail from the past two “Jeopardy!” seasons.
Here’s the video announcing the lineup:

Host Alex Trebek is battling cancer, but he has continued working through treatment and has been doing well. In late May, he shared that he was in “near remission.” He’ll get to see Holzhauer, Boettcher, and the others again when Tournament of Champions kicks off on Nov. 4.
