Joy Behar Appears to Shade Meghan McCain by Calling Current The View Panel Perfect

Nov 20, 2021

Fans believe that Joy is dissing her former co-host with her comments as one notes, ‘Joy saying she does miss some of the executives who have the left show, but the panel is PERFECT now.’

AceShowbiz -The back-and-forth between Joy Behar and Meghan McCain has yet to be over. The co-hosts of “The View” seemingly drop a subtle diss at her former co-worker with her comment in the Friday, November 19 episode of the talk show.

In the episode, the ladies welcomed former co-host Abby Huntsman back to the table. Abby, who left “The View” in January 2020 to be an aide on her dad Jon Huntsman’s gubernatorial campaign in Utah, updated her co-hosts and fans about what she’s been up to as well as another reason why she left the show. Abby claimed that some executives and other co-workers made her time on the show difficult.

“There were some tough days, and there were executives here at the time, and people here at the time, that made too many of my days too difficult, but all of them are gone, and you guys lived a lot of that with me,” Abby recalled.

After Abby mentioned that some of those people were gone, Joy chimed in to note that she did miss a few executives. “I miss some of them. I do. I miss some of them,” Joy said, before adding, “I don’t miss–I mean, the panel’s perfect now.”

Fans believed that Joy was shading Meghan with her comments. “Joy saying she does miss some of the executives who have the left show, but the panel is PERFECT now,” a viewer said with laughing emojis. “Joy with the shade at Meghan, ‘The panel is PERFECT now’ I hollared!!” another fan reacted.

Her comments might remind people to her saying that she didn’t miss Meghan during her maternity leave. In her memoir, Meghan revealed that the remarks hurt her so much that it triggered her postpartum anxiety. Sharing she was “uncontrollable sobbing” during the commercial break, she admitted, “Nothing anyone has ever said to me on camera since I have been giving interviews since I was 22 years old ever hit this hard. I was super hormonal and deeply hurt.”

“That experience of crying and leaking and trying to pull it together in seconds so I could go back on-air with women who appeared to hate me was an intensely heartbreaking experience. I can’t explain it further other than I felt like in that moment I took a look at my life outside of myself and I thought clearly — this s**t isn’t worth this,” Meghan added.

She continued, “While I wept, I no longer felt safe working at ‘The View’. It is one of the most singular feelings of loneliness and anguish I have felt in my entire life. It was a perfect storm of hormones, postpartum anxiety and a lot of demons. I never talked to Joy one on one again after that day.”
