A LOVE Island star from this year is threatening to expose the show's 'secrets' after becoming irritated by people who work behind the scenes and some of their fellow islanders.

The unnamed person – whose identity we are keeping secret – claims some of the cast were unfairly "forgotten" about and cut out of key scenes which were aired on TV.

They want to expose "the truth" and claim there are "secrets" such as those in Casa Amor being "treated differently" and "sidelined" to favour the likes of "favourites" Molly Mae and Tommy.

An insider revealed to The Sun Online: "One of the stars of this series feels angry towards some of the other islanders and they're threatening to expose the truth when their contract with ITV finishes.

"They say that arguments involving certain popular stars were not aired to keep them on the show while the cast of Casa Amor were forgotten about.

"This person says there are some fake couples and thinks it's time for the fame-hungry and fake stars to be outed.

"It appears they're on a mission to reveal all."

The Casa Amor episodes were some of the most dramatic of the series, with Michael Griffiths, Curtis Pritchard and Anna Vakili's heads all being turned.

But our source insists even more kicked off – but it ended up on the cutting room floor.

If the person in question comes forward, it will be the second time someone from this series has spoken out against the show and what happened off-camera.

Sherif Lanre was removed from the villa after just nine days – but his exit was never shown on-screen.

Instead show narrator Iain Stirling briefly mentioned he had left and gave viewers no explanation as to why.

But Sherif chose to speak out a week later, revealing to The Sun on Sunday he had been booted off for making a vile joke about a "c*** punt" after accidentally kicking Molly-Mae Hague in the crotch during a play fight. The fight was never aired.

He also claimed black contestants get less air time, but Love Island representative fiercely denied accusations of racism.

Meanwhile there are tensions between the 2019 cast just two weeks after the final.

The Sun Online yesterday revealed how Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were banned from a VIP holiday by their fellow co-stars after they branded them "fake".

The social media influencer and her boxer boyfriend finished second in the ITV2 show, but it turns out they weren't so popular inside the villa.

They were left out of a birthday trip to Ibiza with co-stars moaning all they did was "sleep all day in the villa and nothing else".

The Sun Online has approached Love Island reps for comment.
