Liberty Poole has admitted she still loves Jake Cornish after the pair left the Love Island villa following their emotional split.
The 21 year old marketing student reunited with 24 year old Jake as they sat down with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on Monday's episode of This Morning ahead of the ITV2 dating show's final.
They were grilled by the married couple on the feelings they still have for one another with Liberty confessing she has failed to turn her feelings off.
She said: "Obviously I do still love him. They're not just going to switch off like that.
"It is hard still being around him, but I think we made the right decision because if you're not happy then you've got to put yourself first."
Jake also admitted he has missed spending time with Liberty during their candid chat, saying: "We haven't spoke, really. We only got our phones back last night, I only got her number last night."
He added: "It's still very raw, but my feelings haven't changed for Lib. We've been out of the villa for four or five days and being away from each other, I've missed her."
Elsewhere during the interview, Jake admitted he's not sure he would have left the villa if Liberty hadn't sparked the conversation.
He said: "It's one of them things where enough is enough at the end of the day, my head was in overdrive, being in there was so intense and it came to a point where we were just at a wall.
"I'm quite glad she put it on me, really, because I didn't quite have the bite to do it and it's done now."
The water engineer also refused to rule out a reunion for the pair, with him saying: "I think it would definitely be a lot easier on the outside but, like I said, I don't know.
"I'd like to think so but, it takes two to tango as they say."
Liberty echoed Jake's comments, saying: "I definitely made the right decision in there for me at the time.
"Me and Jake are still, there's no negativity there, we still get on really well so I feel like it was the right decision for now.
"You can never say never because you just don't know what's going to happen in the future," she continued.
