Looks like ABC is potentially making some major changes to its Bachelor Nation schedule. Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette just started airing and anyone who loves spoilers is well aware that Clayton Echard is in the midst of filming his season of The Bachelor—which will air in early 2022. But according to Reality Steve, instead of pivoting back to The Bachelorette, ABC is looking to film *another* season of The Bachelor—and are even in the process of casting.
Reality Steve first hinted at the news on his website, saying “I’ve had a couple different people contact me in recent days saying they know women who’ve been contacted by Bachelor production about being on the Bachelor, yet they’re being told filming starts in January.”
He then confirmed the news on Twitter, writing “There will be another Bachelor season that airs after Clayton’s season. Starts filming mid to end of February. Will air, most likely, in the Bachelorette spot which is May-July. Hearing this could be the new norm moving forward.”
So, what does that mean for The Bachelorette? Steve says it could be permanently moved to its recent schedule—aka filming July through September, and airing October through December.
